Welcome to Stitches So Sweet, an online boutique for all things embroidered. I am Rachel Chadesh, the new owner. After years of working with Jill Daniels, the founder, to create unique gifts for family and friends, the opportunity arose to take over her very special business. I could not feel more grateful for the opportunity, and I am excited to see how we grow from here.
Stitches So Sweet was created out of love. And that drew me to this opportunity. My own life has been full of twists and turns. The constant for me is being the proud Mom of two children who are my heart and soul. We treasure every giggle, snuggle and experience. I started teaching Yoga in the area in 2008, and will continue to do so. Yoga, for me, is a way of living, and it has helped me in all areas, from motherhood to becoming a small business owner.
From the first time Jill and I collaborated on a baby blanket, I was taken by the heartfelt personalized gift we created. To see your child’s name on something-a handmade blanket, a vest for a club, a backpack or a team bag-evokes a feeling for the parent. Seeing the look on my son’s face the first time I had Jill embroider his name on a Cub’s jersey was priceless. Placing my daughter’s name on the bag she uses for her sports gear, gives her a sense of pride. It is an honor to place the names of police or fire fighters on their uniforms. When a business reaches out wanting a logo or an employee name permanently placed on an article of clothing that will be used daily, there is a sense of something larger at work.
My vision is to continue offering these options up to current and future customers. I will slowly build out the catalogue. I envision a gift shop of sorts, where beautiful, customized gifts are available.
I am super excited as the new owner of Stitches So Sweet and I look forward to working with you to create your one-of-a-kind piece.
