Hi, I am Jill Daniels and I am the proud owner of Stitches So Sweet! Stitches So Sweet is based in the 'burbs of Chicago.
I wanted to take a minute and share my story. Some of you know me personally but many of you don't so here it goes!
I have always had a love of sewing and crafting as you can see from this picture when I was 5 years old sewing with my 3 year old brother Joe watching on. I loved it throughout the years, from making a quilt with my aunt to sewing dresses with my grandma to making roman shades for my first place after college - -Man did I love that Laura Ashley Coral Floral Print in my kitchen! I never thought that I could make a career out of my sewing, especially after graduating from College with a double major in Spanish and Political Science so I did what every other Political Science major did and went to law school.
 I honestly think the only reason I was meant to go to law school was to meet my husband, have our beautiful 3 children Harper, EB and Tate and be on the journey that took me back to sewing.
I am often asked how Stitches So Sweet came to be. I started up after leaving work to care for our daughter Ellie (aka EB). She has some special needs and there was no way I could juggle her medical schedule and work as a lawyer in the city. I chose to stay home with Ellie and my love for sewing naturally followed. I started to take on some little jobs here and there for people from sewing patches on to sewing pillows. The embroidery came after my husband's aunt passed away and I inherited her embroidery machine. It was from that moment I was truly in love again with sewing! I devoured anything and everything I could about embroidery. Before I knew it I was stitching away, had a website and orders were coming in. As they say, the rest is history!
